'Education for Life' is the motto of Bhagini Seva Samaja. Established in 1923, to provide education to the girl children in the locality of Krishnamurthyuram, Mysuru, now it is catering to both boys and girls.
A school is a social responsibility. It should awaken true human potential. Hence the curriculum and pedagogy at Bhagini Seva Samaja is designed to bring out this innate potential in every child. This methodology brings in critical and logical thinking which instills creativity and boosts up the innovative mind of the child.
In view of achieving this objective the first thing I took up is to appoint experienced, committed and dedicated faculty, who could provide individual attention and personal care. We give equal importance to co-curricular activities. Yoga, Chess and ABACUS are included in the regular curriculum. Empowerment classes, Action Research, Study techniques, Career guidance, Outdoor activities, Desi-games, Nature classes, Projects and Experiments, Lab and Club activities are introduced for the complete personality development.
With the joint effort of all the stakeholders, with the grace of God and the blessings of His Holiness Vishweshathirtha Swamiji of Sri Pejawara Matha we expect Bhagini Seva Samaja to regain its lost glory within a short span of time. I wish all the inmates a joyous and a fruitful journey.
